South Boulder Peak in the fog and snow - 8+miles

Yet another solo jaunt, this one a rare solo hike on a Saturday. Crummy cold winter weather, first of the year, with socked in skies and 3 inches of snow on the ground. Left the house at 10:30 to hike up Bear Mt, over to South Boulder Peak, then down Shadow Canyon to return via the Mesa Trail by 2:30.

Only came across a handful of people on this icy day. Very nice in that way. Haven't been up on SoBoPeak in ages! I can't wait to go back with views as I couldn't see more than a few hundred yards through the thick, supercooled droplets.
