Niwot Loop - 50min, 16miles

Windy! Wow! Slow ride into the northwesterly up 36. But then a wicked fast cruise east along Niwot with 15+ mph tail winds.

Green Mountain Trail run - 10 miles, 3000' gain/loss

Ouch. Sore quads after that run. 1hr05min from house to top of Green via Bear Canyon. 1hr down to Bluebell shelter. 30min to home from there via Mesa trail.

Florida Beach walks, paddles, runs

Had a nice 5 days to walk, run, jump waves, and paddle around in Florida over Thanksgiving break. Rachel adn I had a day to ourselves with the sit-on-top to tool around the north end of Jupiter Island in the wildlife preserve. Very nice channels filled with birds. Lonesome beach on the Atlantic side for some one on one :)

Hall Ranch - 6 miles

Another mellow Dan-O ride. The climb is getting easier technically everytime. There are only 2 or 3 spots that I have hopp up with a foot on the ground. A quick happy hour pint at Oscar Blues for $1.43 before heading home.

Frost Ride: Rt52 to Erie, return on Lookout - 25 miles

A chilly 45F but sunny. The warm gear I bought works great! A group of 8 dedicated folks and nice enough to wait to fix Heidi's flat out near 287.

Heil Ranch but just up to loop and back - 30 min, 5 miles

Dan and I only had a short time before dark set in.

Flagstaff from work - 1hr15min, 18 miles

Kay and Heidi wanted to do somethig different. Mellow Creek path ramble to 6th Street out and back. Then that nice climb up to the amphitheater.

3 Bitches backwards, shorter loop - 55 min, 18 miles

Solo loop in cool 55 degree, windy weather. Didn't feel like tagging along on the NCAR ride today.

Blue Stem/Bear Canyon Run - 6.5 miles

Nice lunch time run on a day where I had to take Leah to the doc in the morning due to a juniper induced rash. Stayed home the rest of the day to do a bit of work.

Neva - Olde Stage - 1hr15min, 25miles

Fast but not frosty ride with the NCAR gang. It was actually hot on those final steeps. Pulled some leads on Lefthand, which is great considering how hard that stretch used to feel. But lost the front of the pack on the last 1/4 mile to the top. Caught them again on 36 though!

3 Bitches clockwise - 1hr10min, 25 miles

A chilly Halloween ride with Kay and Heidi out east on the full Lookout loop. Pumpkin patches, cabbage fields, forelorn sunflower fields, yellow leaves, snowy peaks.
