The 3 Ws: wind, weight, wood. Windy gusts to 40mph from the Chinook. Weight from the holidays with no rides since a month ago. Wooden legs from skiing. 3 things to humble the ride :-) But still good fun and a great work out. The wind really was a bear heading up 36. But a schuss heading east on Nelson and down 63rd.

Yahoo! Lots of steeps and deeps with the girls! A fine early start and on the Super Bee by 8:30. Great clouds shrouding the nearby ridges and ice crystal rainbows in the early morning sun. Hit up the back bowls and the cat up to Tucker Mountain for the 25 min hike to the top. Then down Ever Glades 1 for some foot deep powder and tree skiing. The girls did great!!! Lots more blacks and bumps after that. They are good!

A day of non-stop steeps and trees with Bill. A fun blast from the past on a great mountain.

11 days of southern fun that kicked off with 4 cold days on the water. Sea kayaked out of Everglades City again but headed north this time. West Pass to Tiger Key for 2 days (while th wind blew itself out!) then a day at Rabbit Key with a return via Rabbit Key Pass and Chokoloskee. The 2 nights in Miami Beach for some good food, visits with Joe and Yoly, and lots of beach walking. Off to Jupiter for 5 days for more fine wine, food, visits with Julian and Siggy then an 80th b-day celebration at Jean Pierres.
