Royal Arch Loop with Rach

Saturday AM jaunt with the honey.

Long Way home -20miles

Can't get away enough during work so the occasional long ride home has to due for now.  75th to Baseline to Cherryvale.

Last day for Winter Park - tele'ing and downhill with lots of moguls

Didn't think about skiing wen I woke up but by 8 o'clock, with dreary skies and no prospects for a good ride down in town, I packed up the gear to burn one more WP ticket of my 4pack. Well worth the trafficless drive! Warm temps in the upper 30s and 8 inches of new spring snow! Telied for a few runs but switched over to the crappy Rossi boards in order to take better advantage fo the moguls. Gotta dumpy those things next year... They suck. But the day was.a good one and I'm happy to round out a great season today.

Goshawk and Mickey Mouse access trail

Lee Hill, Lefthand, Rt 36 - 23 miles

A long and not too hard lunch ride with Al.

Super Flagstaff to LazyZ to Magnolia and home -~36miles or so

Rachel went up to Eldora and the girls were both busy so a long haul up the hill and over the ridges. Kept running into the same dude on his single speed 29er. Had some fun talks along the way. Cool to see the upper fervor forest roads without any people around. No snow but lots of sand along those. And LazyZ is longgggggggg. I was ready for easy grades by the time I got up to Magnolia.. The zoom down Mag was the usual death defying fun!

Loveland tele'ing with the girls

An early spring day with temps in the 50's by noon. Lots of wind! and the Ridge was closed. But great snow over on Lift 1 with soft steeps for Kelly to hone her mogulling on. Leah spent half the day reading in the van.

Heil Ranch loops - 8 miles

Finally a ride after 2 weeks without! Left work at 4:45 and started up the trail by 5:10 or so. Did the longer upper loop. Searing lungs after a a long week at sea level and lots of sedentary work days between. Time to get more regular about this...
