A Sunday am ride. Nice!! 93 is now much better. Coal Creek is just a grand climb with varied pitch and nice scenery. The Peak to Peak through Ned is always beautiful. And Sugarloaf, despite the 3.5 miles of dirt, is aa awesome swooping way back down to town.
With Varda and Rach. This jaunt into the tundra instead of watching the Pro Cycling Challenge zoom around Boulder. Oh well, maybe I'll stick around for it next year.
Wed's ride in reverse. And I like it better this way. Nicely warmed up for the steep at the top of Old Stage and a nice descent for 6 miles back to work. Saw these happy critters on the north end of Old Stage: Same place where Heidi and I almost rode into a bear crossing the road several years ago.
Early rise and early return on this morning hike above East Portal. Just Rach and I squeezing in a 4-hr jaunt above tree line in order to get home and help Kelly pack for college. Sniff. Sniff.
