First foothills ride of the year with Rach. Hardly any snow on the roads and trails on the sunny south slopes. Even saw loads of pin cushion cactus in full bloom all the up at 7500"!

An awesome late April day at Loveland! 9" of fresh and spent most of the time up on the Ridge. Hiked out to Gate 3 and 4 for the first time. Many drops into Gates 1 and 2. So much fun to feel confident to tele off the cornices and down the steeps, in the deep.

A slushy, muddy but nice hike wandering through the ponderosa woods of Heil Ranch. Lots of newly cut woodland with new meadows in the making. And we saw lots of signs of and glimpse of turkeys!!

Nice!! A very nice loop to add to the list of short rides. Great views, nice grade.

Skipped work with Dan and hit Panorama and Eaglewind with almost a foot of fresh in the trees. Driving was full on winter ice on Berthoud, skied in blustery fog and snow in the morning then had spring mashed potato snow near the base in the afternoon. April in Colorado: all four seasons in a day! Great lunch of steamed mussels and Belgian beer at Cheeky Monks at WP base.

A late start at noon with a bit of walking up the road before getting to the snow.

The usual around the town ride of 30 odd miles. Nice spring day!
